RTS means Real Time Save function, and today, I will show you the step by step intructions about how to enable the RTS function on this R4i Gold 3ds RTS CARD, and what the button combination to rts a game is. The R4i Gold card is the best ds/dsi/3ds/3ds xl flashcart out there at the moment, and all the r4i gold cards from TheGamerDepot will be pre-flashed to work with the newest 3ds 6.2.0-12U out of the box.
Step 1. Download the newest r4 wood firmware from its official website, unzip the files and copy all the contents onto the root of the your MicroSD card, in other words, put the firmware files on the micro SD card root, meaning not in any folder or directory. Insert the SD card into the r4i gold card and boot it up in your ds/dsi/3ds/3ds xl console. More details about this step, please read our previous post about how to setup r4i gold card.
Step 2. Press “A” to access the r4i gold menu
Step 3. Click “START” and select “Settings” as the screenshot below:
Step 4. Find the “Patches” option, select “Reset Hotkey l-r-a-b-↓” and “rts on”
Step 5. Click “OK” when it gives you a warning that “Save current settings?”
Step 6. Start playing a game, here we use “Ben 10 Omniverse” as an example
Step 7. Press the button combination “Left, Right, A, B, ↓” at the same time when you want to save the game.
Step 8. Select Save and Press “A” , and wait about 10 seconds.
Step 9. It will bring you back to the game, and you can quit now. Whenever you want to continue the game, simply press the button combination “Left, Right, A, B, ↓” again and select “LOAD”
